Eight steps to
your Aussie

Over more than ten years with Australian Shepherds we have found the steps that help families - and us - choose the right puppy. By the time a puppy heads home we will have talked for more than four hours.

1
ANYTIME

Getting acquainted

Call us, find us on Instagram or Facebook - and fill in questionnaire. Your answers help us get to know you and share what is actually relevant to your situation.

2
BEFORE OR AFTER A LITTER IS BORN

We meet

Meet our dogs. Ask everything, and make sure you know what you want. We help you understand what to expect — and tell you openly what we look for when choosing dogs ourselves.

If you would like to prepare your questions in advance - “Aš nežinojau” is a website setting out what is worth asking a breeder and what a breeder should ask you. Ask us the same things.

DAY 0

The litter is born

Puppies! Within the first fourteen days we officially announce the litter. A great moment to start - or to continue - our conversation.

3
WEEKS 2–4

Naming the litter's traits

The puppies still depend fully on their mother. This is the time to name precisely what you expect from a puppy. We tell you about the parents and which traits or looks we anticipate in each puppy. The puppies get their names.

4
WEEKS 4–7

Meeting the puppies

Enough photos - come and visit. This is where the education begins: how to prepare for a puppy and how to avoid the typical mistakes.

5
WEEK 7 · DAY 49

The temperament test

If you have decided on a puppy - today you receive the temperament test results with a specialist's explanation. We discuss how they match your circumstances, expectations and vision, and recommend a training strategy.

6
WEEKS 7–8

The decision

So far we have gone through dozens of scenarios together. If you choose a “Skraidančios Ausytės” puppy - you receive the book our kennel has written about a puppy's development and behaviour, instructions on how to prepare for his arrival, and we sign the purchase agreement.

7
8 WEEKS +

The journey home - in touch with us around the clock

At two months, vaccinated and documented, your puppy comes home with you. From then on we raise the dog together: questions answered around the clock, problems solved side by side, achievements celebrated loudly.

8
FOR LIFE

The community

You join our kennel community - you are welcome at our hikes, the midsummer party and the litter birthdays. We share partner offers, joint orders of treats and equipment, advice and all of your discoveries.

The book

Written by our kennel - a development and behaviour guide that every family takes home.

The starter kit

A vaccination passport, pedigree papers, the usual food and familiar scents - everything for the first day.

First Year Together

A structured plan for the first year - stages, reminders and us alongside you.

Questionnaire

Tell us about yourself

Not an exam and not a queue - simply a way to get to know one another. The answers help us understand which home suits which puppy. Filling it in takes about 10 minutes.

If you are still weighing up whether an Aussie is really for you - “Aš nežinojau” has a breed test, “Will you get along?”. Sometimes the best answer is a different breed, or waiting.

Questionnaire

Tell us about yourself

Not an exam - just a way to get to know each other. It takes about 10 minutes, and your answers are saved if you have to stop.

We need your email so that we can reply to you. We do not use it for anything else.

Within a few days

We read every answer and reply personally - even if we have no puppies at the moment.

Conversation

We talk on the phone or meet. There are questions on both sides.

No obligations

Filling in the questionnaire commits no one - neither you nor us.
