Eight puppies - and every one of them red: a rare, uniform litter. Even structure, rich coats, temperaments ranging from calm Teddy to never-still Rusty. All eight pieces have already melted into new families.
Every puppy - a separate square of the chocolate bar.
A teddy bear's temperament - calm, patient, always beside his person.
Teddy has wonderful motivation both for prey and for food. This puppy is independent and calm. Teddy is curious and takes a great interest in his surroundings. He is capable of working towards a goal and is motivated. In training he tries to please and picks up sequences of commands remarkably quickly. As with all Australian Shepherds, success will come down to a mutual bond built on trust and love.
The richest coat colour in the litter. Energetic, but quick to focus.
Coffee has excellent motivation both for food and for toys. This little male is curious and, given the chance, always sets out to explore his surroundings, have a sniff and learn something new. He is a dog who naturally seeks human attention and affection. In raising Coffee one has to be careful not to overdo things. Confidence in his surroundings matters to him, along with purposeful but careful socialisation. All the puppies, Coffee included, will need attention paid to getting them used to visual and acoustic stimuli, especially to being in the environments where you yourself spend your free time or work. For this lad it is important to trust his owner, and he will become a wonderful companion for an active life outdoors.
The largest of the litter. Strong bone, bold even in city noise.
A curious, bold, contact-oriented dog. An excellent prey drive and good food motivation. When he is unsure or does not know how to behave, Max turns to his person for help. He is the golden mean - a very “correct” Aussie. Max's strong wish to be with his owner means that from the very first days he should be taught independence, with time given to preventing separation anxiety. Max is a very warm-natured puppy. During the assessment he barked little and completed the intelligence task exceptionally quickly.
Never still from morning till night. Would suit agility perfectly.
Rusty is a champion born. He has an incomparable prey drive. He seizes toys, is almost fearless, yet remains sceptical in the Aussie way. He is the soul of the litter. During the intelligence test Rusty hesitated a little, but the moment he grasped the goal he completed the task exceptionally quickly. Rusty is a wonderful dog for sport, for an active life, for working with sheep, for training… He will be excellent in practically any activity you offer him.
The gentlest soul in the litter - wary of strangers, devoted to her own.
Kari is at ease in unfamiliar surroundings, interacts readily with people and is marked by curiosity. Kari has a FABULOUS prey drive. This can be both a great asset and a drawback. An owner who wants an active girl, knows how to train a dog properly and is ready to dive into the world of sport will be delighted by Kari's ability to carry out tasks and please her person. What you can expect - a bond built on trust, love and clear leadership, revealing Kari's full potential.
The brightest eyes in the litter. Picks up commands from half a word.
A gentle, calm girl. She tracks objects and people beautifully. She is a dog who loves people, and it is very important to keep those positive experiences going and to protect her from bad ones with those around her. An excellent prey drive; she plays with toys willingly and with great enthusiasm. Moka is a wonderful family dog, or a first dog for a less experienced owner.
Graceful and lively. Loves being the centre of attention.
Lotti has a remarkable ability to manage her emotions. At the same time she gravitates strongly towards people and asks for human help when solving tasks.
